Sharing this because it’s rare material — photo and description of cornerstore laying in 1928, description of theater given to Shriners, background on how architecture firm was chosen, etc. All of the images are clickable. Posting for the history buffs.
The Fox Theatre Scrapbook site presents a treasury of photos, ads, and promotional items related to the Save the Fox campaign, along with 1970s ads and articles on the theater. This was an instance where Atlantans really did the right thing by a building, for once.
