Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago, Illinoisby goonsxcmyk
Collage of shots of something which, apparently, no longer exists.
From the photographer, who titled this “Condemned Modernism”:

A collection of photos taken in 2009 on the campus of the abandoned Michael Reese Hospital, Chicago, IL. About 40% of the campus was designed by Walter Gropius, noted 20th century architect and founder of the Bauhaus. The campus has been condemned by the city; many of the buildings in these photos have already been demolished.

Like Art Deco, a lot of early Modernist work is under major threat. 1950s office complexes, 1960s government buildings, etc., are being blown up at an alarming rate.
