Hope everyone is enjoying the “Art Deco Architecture Alphabet” feature I’m running. Just putting it in, I now realize it will probably take over a month to get through the whole thing. I’m using a Wikipedia list of countries, plus cities over 100,000, to get the place names, and so I’m looking at Deco in all sorts of places I’ve not looked before. Anyway, it seems a good way to bring in variety and I’m learning some geography, like for example where Burundi is.

This font, without a doubt is my all time favourite. Well, at the moment anyway! It was designed by A. M. Cassandre in France in 1930. It’s the ultimate Deco font I think.
